Women in Entrepreneurship Report

This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the challenges and opportunities faced by

women entrepreneurs in Egypt, with a focus on fostering a more inclusive and equitable entre-

preneurial ecosystem. Despite significant progress in recent years, women remain underrepre-

sented in entrepreneurship, particularly in high-growth sectors such as technology and

finance. Key barriers include entrenched cultural norms, limited access to finance, inadequate

digital literacy, and insufficient support infrastructure. Addressing these challenges is not only

a matter of gender equity but also a critical driver of economic growth and innovation.
